Our Story

Born out of a love of dogs, the best rotating beer, and classic American cuisine, Blue Dog Beer Tavern opened in 2009 and quickly became a neighborhood institution.

The area was itching for a good burger joint with down-home vibes, so the early 1940s house-turned-office was transformed into our bustling pub-style restaurant.

The team at Blue Dog strives to create a safe, casual, and authentic tavern experience every day.

We will always try to make your day a little bit better, enhance your knowledge on beer, hopefully provide some laughs, and encourage you to step outside your comfort zone and try something new, be it food or drink!

We also love dogs (just as much as we love you), so please feel free to bring your fur babies and best friends.
